Wedding on the Conservatory Lawn

The morning started out slow like most weddings where everyone casually got ready and prepared for the upcoming wedding ceremony on Belle Isle. As everyone continued to get ready for the big day by sipping mimosas and taking tequila shots on the porch while playful pets soaked in the limelight. With one very eager dog awaiting the arrival of the groom for the first look. Finding a small library that the groom had built himself we squeezed the couple back to back for a first look. After the excitement had died down we hopped in our cars and made our way to the Belle Isle Conservatory for the wedding ceremony. As flower girls danced on the lawn and everyone made final preparations for the ceremony site they tied the knot without a hiccup. Following the ceremony, we made our way to a few portrait locations but first had to stop by for a quick pizza break. When we arrived at the Royal Oak Farmers Market the scene was already set with string lights and the smell of food trucks preparing for dinner. The night felt like a flash as toasts were said and dancing began followed by an amazing late night snack.
