A Modern Detroit Wedding at The Whiskey Factory

One of the greatest joys about Detroit is getting to experience the connection each of our couples shares with this beautiful city and how they choose to celebrate. Claire and Vlad started the day off with friends and family gathering around them for their wedding that was soon to happen at The Whiskey Factory. Clair chose to get ready at the gorgeous Detroit Foundation Hotel while Vlad was at their beautifully remolded home. It wasn’t long until Vlad arrived in his 1960s Corvette so we could casually make our way to the Whiskey Factory for their wedding. The evening continued flawlessly as they said their vows, kissed and cheered their way into the reception. Before departing for the day we took a quick break for a late-night session on the rooftop to capture the night’s end with the city glow in the background.

If you are looking to rent The Whiskey Factory for your wedding you can expect to spend $4000-$5500 for either a Friday or Saturday event. As this is a working distillery you can expect a range of hand-crafted cocktails and spirits to choose from. You can even purchase a barrel of bourbon to share among all your guests as favors for the evening! This space can hold up to 250 guests but we’ve found 150 to be the sweet spot for the perfect evening.
